After feeding the streets with a few projects and earning some big co-signs, Roddy Ricch is back with his official debut album–Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.
“I feel, not so much tragedies, but turning points in my life [pushed me to music]. Like, going to county jails and really experiencing that,” Roddy tells Billboard. “I just wanted to do something positive. I feel like music was the talent that I had, I just had to tap into it.”
The 16-track album is led by “Start Wit Me” and “Tip Toe,” including features from Meek Mill, Gunna, Ty Dolla $ign, Mustard, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Lil Durk. Orignially there was going to be surprise feature on a track titled “Antisocial,” but for whatever reason it’s not on the release.
