Beyoncé Drops ‘The Lion King: The Gift’

Can we just call this a Beyoncé album?

With the remake of The Lion King offically out on the big screen, Beyoncé delivers The Lion King: The Gift album on top of the original soundtrack.

“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it,” Beyoncé says. “I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa.”

Packed with 14 songs, led by “Spirit,” with a lot of talent, including JAY-Z (of course), Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Pharrell, Tierra Whack, Saint JHN, as well as Blue Ivy Carter and plenty more.

Listen to the album below or any streaming platform.
