DJ Khaled Drops New Album, ‘Father Of Asahd’

Another one.

The rollout for album number 11 has been different from the past ones for DJ Khaled as we don’t have any single on the radio right now or a bunch of videos out. All that was released were the two star-studded singles–”Top Off” and “No Brainer“–last year and they didn’t take off as expected.

After some delays and probably some more recording, DJ Khaled finally releases Father Of Asahd. With a total of 15 tracks, one thing that hasn’t changed is the big name features Khaled pulls together; on top of those in the previously released tracks we have SZA, Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Nas, Rick Ross, J Balvin, Big Sean and more (surprisingly no Asahd feature).

Thankfully the late, great Nipsey Hussle’s track I was hoping to hear did remain on the album as originally planned after Khaled got the blessings from Nip’s family. Khaled also said that all of the proceeds from the track will go to Nipsey’s kids.

Listen to the album below or if you’re like me hit play on track number 7 to hear one of Nipsey’s last recorded songs.
