DMX is a free man once again.
After serving a one year prison sentence in Gilmer Federal Correctional Institiution for tax evasion, X’s attorney confirms his release as of Friday morning.
Unfortunately, the Ruff Ryder will be under supervised release for three years and will need to pay the IRS $2.3 million in restitution. Supposedly he is planning to get in the studio and begin working on his next album; there’s also offers awaiting for a biopic as well.
Hopefully the legend can stay on track and avoid any future issues to lead him back into a courthouse or locked up.
