Jacob Banks Releases Debut Album, ‘Village’

Some soul for y'all.

After releasing a few EP’s and signing with Interscope Records, Jacob Banks delivers his debut studio album Village.

The British-crooner sat down with Clash Magazine to explain how the title comes from the phrase “it takes a village” and and the album overall “embodies the human experience, what it means to be human and so many things. My album celebrates all the weird parts and wonderful parts of us.”

With 14 tracks, Jacob Banks gets assistance from NANA, Bibi Bourelly and Seinabo Sey; the latter featured track was previously released.
