Stro Signs With Mass Appeal Records; Announces New EP

What a journey and this is only the beginning.

In 2011, Stro got plenty of recognition on a national level as he appeared on X-Factor and making it to the final 7 before being eliminated. Over the years Stro released several projects and continued to grow with his craft and as an individual.

Fast forward to 2018, the Brooklyn rapper is 22 years old now and leading up to the summer he was releasing tracks left and right and even caught the attention of Kendrick Lamar. We waited for a new project but nothing came as Stro seemed to have just dropped back into the cuts.

Well there was a good reason for that. The young emcee has officially signed with Nas’ Mass Appeal Records and will be dropping an EP as his label debut. The project is titled Nice 2 Meet You, Again and will arrive on October 19th.

Stro had the following to say:

#N2MYA represents a new me and a new beginning. There was a lot of ups and downs creating this project, but through the grace of God I’m able to say I got it done,” says Stro. “Through the grace of God, I’m also able to release this new music through one of the most authentic labels in music today, Mass Appeal Records. The whole building has been supporting what I do. NAS SUPPORTS WHAT I DO. That’s a blessing I’ll hold on to and keep in mind for the rest of my journey. That’s all I needed. This ones mainly for my loyal supporters who have stuck with me throughout the process of finding myself. This one for hip-hop! Hope y’all enjoy #N2MYA.

Congratualations to Stro! We can’t wait to hear this EP and everything else you’ll bring in the future.
